ANAMORPHIC

NOW WE SHOOT CINEMASCOPE
Anamorphic lenses are notoriously difficult and expensive to produce, they are reserved for the top-tier cinematic productions, with single lenses costing 60-90k euros. Recently the market has shifted and cheaper options are becoming available, but at a sacrifice in quality and workflow
We have decided to use old projection lenses, used to de-squeeze the original anamorphic recording. These offer a fantastic image, a real vintage anamorphic look, coupled with vintage lenses, they are truly stunning.
We now offer to shoot your project in cinemascope
YOU'VE SEEN ANAMORPHIC BUT PROBABLY DIDN'T KNOW.
Some of the most famous films over the last 50 years were filmed in anamorphic, they have a little extra something, its hard for most people to know what it is, or how to spot it, but its there, a little extra 'sauce, as we say in the industry.
WHAT IS ANAMORPHIC/CINEMASCOPE?
Anamorphic lenses are specialty tools that affect how images get projected onto the camera sensor. They were primarily created so that a wider range of aspect ratios could fit within a standard film frame, but since then, cinematographers have become accustomed to their unique look, they are still being used to this day.
